Dendrobium nobile in vitro flowering induction

Abstract In vitro flowering is a technique used in genetic improvement that accelerates generations and favors the faster fixation of new traits agronomic market interest. The study aimed to establish protocol for Dendrobium nobile, through combined temperature growth regulator thidiazuron (TDZ) effects. Experiments was performed flask kept BOD incubator at 18, 21, or 24 °C room 26 °C. TDZ concentrations were 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 mg L-1. highest percentage shoots 13.7% occurred concentration 2 L-1 grown 18 nobile promoted plants cultivated ½ MS supplemented with 30 g sucrose, 5.5 agar, 100 mL coconut water, pH 6.0, controlled photoperiod 16 h. induction D. species could be improved future studies.
